Updated: Jan 21, 2024

At the beginning of the year I made plans for some of the projects that I wanted to complete this year. Some of them I made, some are in process, and some I haven't even started. I also made a lot of other projects, so I will share some of my favorites at the end.

1.The plans for this dress have changed a little and it will be more related to one of my senior collection pieces. I am currently in the fitting process for the bodice of this one.

2. I have this dress cut out but have not started sewing yet.

3. I have not stated this one yet.

4. This one I made using the long sleeve option in the burgundy. I really like this top so I also made it in white, black, and yellow.

5. I have not stated this one yet.

7. I have this bag cut out but have not started sewing yet.

10. I have started drafting the pattern for this and will work on fitting it next.

11. We ended up buying new stockings, everything got crazy and I ran out of time.

12. I love both of these dresses. I even made another one in a retro Halloween print.

13. I made this dress but I don't have any pictures. The size I made was too big and it was not working for me so I gave it away.

14. I have this one cut but have not started sewing yet.

15. I decided against this project, I don't think this fabric will work well for this pattern.

16. I made this for my senior collection and it is one of my favorite makes. I also made a wearable muslin for this dress out of Pyrex fabric.

Here are some of my other favorite makes from the year.

Mint Snow Dress

I made this dress by draping a rectangle across the bodice and folding to create pleats. This is a rifle paper company print and I love it.

Cream Cable knit Blackwood

This is one of those simple wardrobe staples that I love. This is the blackwood Cardigan by Helen's Closet and it is wonderful. I found this cable knit print sweater fabric from Joann's. It is super cozy and I plan to make one in navy and gray.

Peacock Sequin dress

I made this dress to attend my cousins wedding. I love the way this turned out but I am still finding glitter and sequins. I got this peacock sequin fabric from Boho Fabrics a couple years ago and finally used it.

Dillon Lunch box

My lunch box was starting to wear out so I needed a new one. I made the Dillion Lunch Box from iThinksew again. I love this pattern and it has worked really well. I used a canvas from Rifle Paper Company.
